"The Schmid Family were so wonderful to work with in
planning our wedding. Marv and Patty went out of their
way to make sure the wedding was a success at every
level: from preparing the barn in case of inclement
weather to mowing the grass in the meadow to helping
greet and orient our guests. Our caterer and equipment
rental company had no problems coordinating with them
and the meadow looked very elegant with all of the
white tents and chairs. The abundant wildflowers also
helped out! A few of our guests were so pleased to be
able to camp at the ranch and on the big day Marv and
Patty were there to help us set up and answer
questions. I think what touched us the most was when
Patty saw that we did not have a photographer and so
went inside the house to grab her camera. That's the
type of people the Schmid's are: always ready to help
out. They are good people and do a fine job hosting
weddings at their ranch."
